450E ripper keepers

Post by Rusty0007 » Sat May 04, 2013 11:41 am

Anyone know where I could find the ripper keepers for my 450E? I have the shanks, but can only come up with two keepers. I looked on JD parts but I can't find them on there. Little wedges....

Thanks!
Best regards,

Rusty

Thanks so much! I should have thought of looking at a previous model. I haven't run across any shanks, used anyway. I've heard there is a company in Tulsa that makes them and they are much cheaper than new ones from JD. So, I guess there is a couple different ripper models, 35, 36? How can you tell which is which? I'll keep a look out for some shanks for you....

I could use 2 of those shanks as well. I bought one from the dealer and would like to find 2 more at a better price!

35 and 36 were used on 2010/1010 35 uses a 1 inch shank with a simple lock and narrower bar/frame and different shank spacing ...36 is 1 1/4 inch shank yours will be a 3100 or probably a 3110 they are about the same as 36 with different piston cups in the rams and i would guess wider yet again on ripper bar/frame
