1010 Bachhoe attachment

Will a 1010 backhoe attachment fit a 420C? :?:

in the book they used the 50 and 51 on both the 440 and the 1010 looks like the mounting brackets are different on 440 vs 1010 if you have rear mounting bracket on your 440 it should go right on there or if you get the 1010 brackets if the bottom bolt area is the same you could make the top bracketing i would think .....go to jd parts online look at to parts book (PC619) pages 30 32 33 and you can see what some of the bracketing looks like ....hope this helps

that leads to the question does a 440 have the same backhoe mounting attachment points as a 420? Our local adds have a 1010 backhoe for sale and if it will fit i'd like to buy it.

in the book it looks like 420 is way different than 440
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

420 is completely different as far as mounts, no interchangeability at all, in fact, I have never even seen the factory 420 mounts other than in a parts book.

old timers must be setting in i had it in my head yours was 440 not 420 OOPS :? :oops:
