420 barely move's

Post by panhead » Tue May 14, 2013 4:11 pm

I've got a 420C.
I've asked quite a few question's on this site, and have gotten alot of good answer's. Thank's
Now my problem?
I drove it out of the shed yesterday, drove around some, went into the ditch.
It drove, I thought alright on the flat.
Now I can't get her to climb out of the ditch.
All the clutch component's were replaced.
I set the clutch with one of Lavoy's tool's.
I think everything went back together correctly.
It has a reverser.
The engine rev's good, but just isn't transfering the engine power to the track's.
Any thought's?
Jim

If you have a PTO, put it in gear, and watch to see if the PTO shaft stops spinning when the crawler stops. If so, the problem is in the engine clutch.
