6 way

Never saw a 6 way on a 310, but doesn't mean they didn't have it.
Buddy of mine used to own a 440 that was donated by Deere to a local cemetery. After he bought it, Deere somehow contacted him to see if they could borrow it for the intro for the new 850 with a power 6 way. Story they told him was that the 850 was the largest crawler at that time with a 6 way, and the 440 was the first crawler with a 6 way.

I've never seen a 310 with a power 6 way either. I have seen the 340 IH with power 6 way,but don't know the year built. gregjo 1948

Not sure on production dates on T340 either. My brother has an HD3 Allis with a 6 way, seems to me it is a 62 or 63.

I believe the 340s came out in 1959. Doesn't that put them a year or two behind the 440C? gregjo1948

440 came out in 58, but 6 ways only seem to be on later crawlers. Could be same thing with the T340, crawler first, 6 way later.
