Lindeman ?'s

Post by ejb17 » Fri Aug 02, 2013 2:21 pm

So I am looking at a 1946 Lindeman and have a couple of questions.
-Is the pitch of the rails 5.75" like I have read here?
-How many pads should I be counting?
Just want to make sure before I plunge.
Also it needs 1 sprocket-anybody have one?
Pins and bushings look real good but I forgot to count so that is why I threw it out here to you guys.

28 links, same as mc, sprockets basically dont exist. If you buy a Lindeman, buy a good one or not at all.

If your are looking for a sprocket and since you are in NY. There is a salvage yard in Sharon Springs, NY. called MacFaddens that I stopped at last year and he had a couple lindemans for sale. Maybe he has sprockets or a good one for parts. Take your check book!
