Restoring

Post by Craigk79 » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:18 pm

I am restoring my 1954 JD 40C Crewlar. I just started getting some of the parts painted and I just need to ask some stuff about putting it back
Together.

-when putting back together and blast and paint the bolts how do you keep them yellow or green when you put things back?

Thanks
Craig

You could just tighten them with your fingers or use rubber wrenches! gregjo1948

If you paint them that way will you not see a color difference when looking at it?

I'm about done with a 52 MC and I'm doing exactly what Duke said. It is working out fine for me. I would suggest that you touch up with the same paint you sprayed initially. BBJ
