hydraulic tension adjusters again

Post by emichaelhaynes » Tue Oct 10, 2006 1:44 am

got my adjusters to move somewhat with a lot of heat and i pretty much had to stand on the grease gun. before i go order seals they don't look like deere adjusters. the cylinder is just a tube with a zerk near the idler bracket. what's more, its a loose fit in the idler bracket. anybody got a clue as to what i might be dealing with. i'll take pics of that tomorrow as well.

That is definitely not a Deere adjuster, not sure what it is.
Careful heating it too much, you have a lot of grease in there, and if it blows the tube, you are going to be in trouble.
