1010 crawler injector pump install

Post by JSIMONSON2006 » Mon Sep 30, 2013 7:05 am

i installed my injector pump in my 1964 1010 crawler i installed the pump lined the marks up and bleeded the lines... well it puffed white smoke then ran good for 15 minutes and smoke disappered and ran good... then i moved the machine and when to idle down and the machine choked out and wont start back up ..did i blow the pump up ? :( i looked at the injector pump and it seems that the one line coming out of the pump is not letting fuel out what can be the problem...it is the line the is near the front of the engine closest to the engine on the left ...

pull the timing cover on the pump and see if it is turning when you crank the engine over

ouch .. so did u have to take the whole engine apart ....the engine on the crawler is trying to turn over ... so i have that going for me .. i just found in the manual that there is a shutoff line that is connected to the pump i didn't hook it up because it was not attached before ... i think it moved and closed that is possibly why i am not getting fuel ... i hope
