Gaskets
My local NAPA store carries a lot of variety of gasket material. However, it is in rolls about one foot wide. I also use cardboard for wider gaskets.

Quite often I use the blue goo from the tube.(budding poet ) Seems I never get the adjust right so, I need to remove those top covers and the goo works great there. gregjo1948

JimG, to answer your original question Deere does still carry many of the gaskets for earlier crawlers such as the 1010 (I have 2010s which were made in the same time period).
However depending on the type of gaskets some are becoming more rare- for instance last year I went to Deere for a transmission rear cover gasket and they had to search a bit across the country. When it came it was in the original box from the 60s and the parts guy remarked that the box was probably worth more than the gasket

Blue goo or any of the other color goos make really poor gaskets as a whole. If you want a gasket "eliminator", get some Right Stuff by Permatex, it is a true gasket eliminator, same concept as used by the OEM's now in cars.
Gaskets are still pretty much readily available as is gasket material, just depends on where you look.

I only use the goo on dry applications where there's no oils involved and no pressure. It keeps rain and dirt out just fine. gregjo1948

Yes, works great for that, I had no end of trouble using it as a gasket dressing, finally gave up on it for that.
