2010 diesel engine blows oil by filling hole
Hello, we have a 2010 crawler that blows oïl by the filling hole when we remove the cap. Oil seams to have white bubble in it. Any idea for what the problem would be?
Thanks,

the 2010 will sling oil out the fill tube when they are running because the tube is so short you want to look behind and under the starter for the crankcase vent tube (a) see if it is buried in dirt one of my 2010s the tube has been cut off about even with the starter so it don't get buried (b) if it is open then you can see how much blow-by you have

If you are seeing white bubbles, I would be concerned about water in the oil. The water could simply be condensation if it has been sitting any length of time or could be an indication of a more significant problem in the engine.
I would suggest an oil change to see if it is simply condensation or actually coolant in the oil (i.e. if you get signiciant quantities of water out with the oil). If it is coolant, you don't want your main and connecting rod bearings sitting in it (it would float on top of the oil when sitting) as it will ruin the bearings really quick.
