They updated the description of the machine. It now says it is a 1010 model.

Also, bids are up to $1100


Anyways I decided to not bid on it and instead buy a backhoe which I am having delivered to me this week. Someone had a killer deal on a backhoe in Wisconsin so I snatched it up.

what is the auction site?
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

I think it has a Detroit diesel engine and that would make it a 440. gregjo1948

auction site is k-bid.com keyword dozer.

description now says 1010 model with gas motor so if you guys have cracked the code you are probably right and they are just guessing what they have based on google searching misc model numbers

They are totally winging it, it is without a doubt a 440 diesel, I can see the governor cover on the LH side just ahead of the oil filter.

Yup. Pretty obvious. Unless one is unfamiliar with a 2-53, then they might think it is gas as it has 2 cylinders. How these guys missed 2 vs 4 cylinders, I have no clue! :P
