Does anyone know if the seat on Yasmar' snazzy 440 will bolt directly onto 420?

You eyeballin' my seat cowboy?
I have a spare seat frame off the parts dozer. I'm not sure if I'm ready to "part" (HA!) with it yet...but money does talk

Yasmar,
With all due respect, I'm not sure just exactly how to respond to your..."suggestion???
I always figure, if I don't really understand a comment, I probably oughta' consider it a compliment, and walk on down the road.
Lavoy...and Yasmar,
I'll check the local bone yard.
Thanks
Gary

Yasmar,
Where in Maine? A life time ago, I worked in places like Bowman Town, and Mexico, odd little places like that. I enjoyed being there.

Gary, at some point I'll probably get rid of that seat frame...although shipping across country would hurt...
I live in Bradley now, but I grew up in Millinocket. Waaaaay up state from Mexico. What did you do when you were here?

I was with the Border Patrol out of Beecher Falls, Vermont. I spent five years there, 1974 thru 1979. We covered half of NH, one county in Maine, and one county in Vermont. All really great country.

I shipped the same seat frame (minus cushions) from Pennsylvania to Arkansas and it cost me $75 via UPS.

Brad
Kinda' discouraging considering Maine to Oregon would be a lot longer haul. I will check the local bone yard. He has quite a bit of stuff.

Gary,
I wasn't to happy about the price either but I didn't figure I'd be able to find one anywhere close by.
I hope you have good luck finding one.

Brad,
Fortunately, my original seat frame is in good shape...after I did a fair amount of repair. The fancy seat is sort of a "thought," at this stage, and not much more. I do think, though, with the steep country we have here, the bigger seat would be a lot better.
I think my crawler was originally designed for the flat lands, or ag land. It had the 14 inch pads which are not the best in the rocky hills. Hard on the undercarriage...my assumption, and not the voiced opinion of anyone who might know anything.
