installed the new intake/exhaust manifold sunday. it runs great!

does anyone have any suggestions for new blade lift cylinders, I see that northern tool has some but don't know what pressure the 420 hyd. manifold builds.

What condition are the old ones? I would try and find someone to rebuild the old ones if possible. New cylinder can get pricey.

420C runs at about 1000PSI, nothing Northern tool has will be rated anywhere near that low, you will be fine.

How about blade arm bushings, the holes in the blade arms are wallered out & the bosses are egg shape. I was thinking of just getting a set of bushings and welding them on and building up weld on the inside, any suggestions?

Other option is to bore oversize and bush back down to correct size.

sounds good,
it took a lot of the red wrench, :o but I got the two bolts out that hold the holt blade arm to the crossbar. the blade is off and the blade arm boss holes are 2". bushing research time. :)

would someone tell me if the roller frame cross member bosses that the caps screw down on, to hold the roller frame to the cross member are forged steel or cast?

the reason I am asking is some of the bolts that hold the caps on are looking pretty rotten and I know I will have to bring the heat  to get them off, and I don't want to temper the bosses if they are cast.
thank you for all of your help :D

They are cast, but cast steel, heated tons of them over the years, usually only way to get the bolts out.
