freshening up running gear.
so far I have replaced all nuts and bolts on rollers. w/grade 8 & nylocks.
crossbeam to frame etc.
on the left roller frame I have split the tracks , heated and removed the crossbeam cap bolts. 8 out, none broke... yeah
.Lavoy, the bolts are 3 1/4 long, w/flat washers only. I am thinking about going with grade 8, 3 1/2" & adding lock washers w/ the flats.
my ? is when I torque them to the spec. ft. lb. 310-330 should I use blue locktite or anti seize ?
also the outside roller frame, holt blade arm, hangars are getting new 2" boss' .
tin is getting a new coat of industrial yellow paint, she is coming along nicely
