Just purchased a 450C. I changed the fluid in the transmission and the steering clutches, fluid looked like milk. The dozer pushes good for about an hour but then has trouble pushing in 1st. I plan to change the fluid again this weekend to see if it helps. I changed the spin on filter but still need to clean the filter in the trans. Anything else I can change or adjust?
Thanks in advance.

What Steve means by that is that JD crawlers with worn HLR transmissions can work well when cold but start to slip or otherwise not operate properly when hot. That is why it is recommended that when you test drive a crawler with a HLR you should do so until it warms up. HLRs are somewhat expensive and time consuming to repair which is why crawlers with them often get sold to unsuspecting buyers when the HLR wears out.
