I have a 2010 dozer in which the hydraulics act skittish like it is sucking air.Where are the screens and filter located?

Thanks for the walk through on the phone.

I am just now getting around to the filter.I pulled the old one and filled it with solvent and it took several minutes for the solvent t leak through so I gave it a thorough cleaning but don't have it back together yet.

My local dealer has a filter for $157.

that's the way mine was packed so tight diesel would not go through it after it is cleaned you can see through the filter yes that is a pricey filter if you had to buy one ... was the seal washer still on the end of the filter?

There was no seal on the old filter so my friend just ordered a new filter.

Is there a Wix or napa or Fram filter equivalent for this. We have two 2010 wheel tractors on the farm and both have poor hydraulics. The filters have been cleaned many times but I'm wondering if it's time for a new one.

the one for the crawler is a fine steel screen the wheel I think is different.. if your takes a hard fiber (for lack of a better word) I have one that I got thinking it was the steel type that I would sell .....as far as I know no one after market makes either one

If I remember correctly ours is a steel mesh also. On jdpart.com it shows the wheel tractor being $157 also.
That's simply outrageous for a filter.

New filter got the hydraulics working good again.Sometimes you never know how bad something was till it is working properly again.

Thanks for the help.

Anyone know the procedure for adjusting the neutral safety switch? Have to have it darn near in reverse to start the machine.
