350c lift pump

Post by mc_mike » Sun Aug 17, 2014 6:03 pm

Anyone ever change the mechanical style lift pump to an electric one? I seem to be having bad luck with the mechanical ones, the diaphragm keeps cracking and I fill the crank case with oil. Thinking about putting an electric one in its place. I assume I would just need a low pressure pump? Suggestions?

Just checking but if the pump seals on the injector pump shaft are torn or worn,,, that is the usual source of oil pan filling with fuel and will ruin a motor in a hurry.., best of luck Mark.
