Reverser back in. Engine and radiator is in. Hopefully back running be weekend.
Does anyone know if I switched from 12 volt positive ground to negative ground if it would effect anything other than gauge.
Many Thanks, Jaybird

Lights don't care about polarity. You could run em on 12 volt AC for that matter. Starter motors don't seem to care either. Can't think of anything but the ammeter that needs to be changed. Not familiar with that tractor but if it has a generator that would need to be polarized. An alternator would need to be changed out or severely modified internally.

Seems like 12 volts would over power 6 volt bulbs and blow them. gregjo1948

8 volts will severely shorten the life of 6 volt bulbs. Don't ask me how I know.

THE question was" I switched from 12 volt positive ground to negative ground if it would effect anything other than gauge" he all ready had 12 volt so lets assume he had changed the bulbs all ready

Hi,
One has to repolarze the generator. And, as noted, swap the leads on the ammeter (or just live with having to read it backwards).
