1960??? 440IC Crawler/Loader.
I used this tractor twice since I bought it, second time the track came off. I used it in what I would consider light duty, just moving sand around at my beach house. I am guessing the track adjuster needs a rebuild but I was going to try to put the track on and see if it lasted for a while first. Bad idea?
Anyway, any specific grease I should use for the tensioner?
Also, any tips you could give me before I try to put the track back on would help. The tracks look like originals, very rusted, and difficult to tell where the master link might be, going to try to remove all of the grease first, and see if I can get it to collapse enough to put the track on without finding the master.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Pins and bushings are probably worn, check front idler for wobble. Grouser pads on a loader will really exacerbate wear, may tend to derail worse.
Back out the set screw on the adjuster, don't take it out, you will lose the check ball that is under it. You can pretty much use any grease, just use whatever you lube the loader arms and such with.
