Finally got the winch torn apart without burning the barn down or loosing any fingers - quite a job. Does anyone have a list of replacement bearings? The parts list only identifies the ring and pinion bearings. I need to replace all the bearings on the shaft. Original bearings are too corroded to read any part numbers. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Andrew

Re: Gearmatic 8A Winch Bearings
Andrew, I just completely rebuilt my 8a including the bearings/seals in the mounting plate and the controller last winter. I made a list of all of the new bearings, seals, and places I got work done on the winch. I can't seem to find it at the moment, I know I sent a email to paul buhler with all of this info. Maybe he can send it to you if I cannot find it. I know I got most of the bearings on eBay as new old stock items and I saved a ton of money. The bearings are easily cross referenced online using the old numbers. Also Lavoy can probably get them for you!

I don't have the part numbers I don't think, but they should not be that difficult to find by size.
