Ripper shanks 350C wanted
Ripper shanks 350C wanted
Hi
I have a JD350C Drott missing ripper shanks. It has provision for 3 shanks and it uses one hydraulic cylinder to operate ripper.
Any ideas where I can buy?
Or where I can obtain the measurements to have them made?
Hope you can help.
Regards
Graeme

Need pics....... book shows A 3100 ripper used on 350C and that would have 2 cylinders and openings for up to 5 shanks they run about $200 each... Sounds like you have something else again need pics

I recently purchased 2 shanks for my ripper installed on my 350c. Deere had them in stock as well as the spring clips for adjusting them up or down. The cast wedges (about 4 inches long by an inch wide+-) that the spring clips attach too, are discontinued. Although, they are easily cut from an iron bar with one hole drilled and tapped for the clip, so just measurements are all you need. Yes, about 200 each including the hardened tip. I can send you photos and measurements if you want to make some.

Follow up to my comment, my ripper has 5 holes for shanks as Jtrichard noted in his post. As does every deere ripper for 350 and 450s that I have seen.

I wonder if he meant he has a Drott ripper, if there is such a thing.

The neat hole size on ripper for shanks is approx 2 1/4inch thick, 5 1/4 long and pin size is 2inch.
