New to me 350C needs track adjusters
First I would like to thank the institutional knowledge of this forum. I have been reading a lot and I just picked up a 1985 JD350C forestry dozer last week. I knew it needed at least one track adjuster, but I have just decided to bite the bullet and buy both of them. It has 1030 hours on it and according to my buddy, who works where they run 3 JD350s everything else is in great shape. So, finally to my question where is the best place to buy the adjusters? Is everything now aftermarket and one is as good as the other? I plan on keeping this dozer for the rest of my days as I bought it to clean up a 60 acre neglected farm that I plan on retiring to within the next few years. Thanks in advance for your advice/input.

I appreciate the input. Judging by the rest of the adjuster it is more than likely too pitted for the seal fix. I pulled it out in an attempt to get to a clean unpitted area of the cylinder and pumped it up got the track adjusted and it did not hold but 20 minutes of running the dozer. I do not want to waste money but I also do not want to have to do this job several times.

I have new adjusters available.
