Hello,
I think I posted this on the wrong one the first time. I'm thinking about purchasing a early 70's model John Deere 450B track loader to use on my farm. I tested it out the other day. It steered fine both ways in forward. In reverse when you pull the right steering clutch it bogs the engine. You have to pull it pretty hard too. Its fine in forward though. Any help would be appreciated. He is asking $6,000 for the loader. I just would like to know about the rights clutch in reverse before I purchase it. I hate the idea of buying it and having to spend another 5-6k on repairs when I get it home.
Thank you
Ben
