Will an outside dozer blade from a 1010 fit a 420 ?

Yes and no. It will if you have the weld on trunnion plates for the trackframes. Then the 1010 trunnions will bolt on anc you are good to go.

Thanks Lavoy. What exactly are you referring to as the trunnion plates? I don’t see anything in the parts manual called as such.

Hi,
The trunnion plates are integral to the later trackframes. They have four holes to mount the trunnion pins, which the outside blade frame hooks to so it can pivot. Since the 420 does not have such as part of the trackframe, you have to add them.

Thanks for that clarification. I assume these trunnion plates would have to be custom fabricated or can they be sources otherwise?
