What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
Just wondering if i connect the hydraulic lines together at the back after I disconnect the backhoe attachment or leave them disconnected? Thanks
Re: What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
Hook them together I believe. On the ones without a diverter valve, it dead head the flow, and the engine won't start, or it breaks the hyd pump.

Would it do any harm connecting them together if it does have a diverter valve?
Re: What to do with backhoe hyd. hoses?
No, won't hurt anything. If you open the valve, you will not have hyd for the loader, but won't hurt anything.

So am I right to say that if I connect the hoses and the loader doesn't work then it has a bypass valve and the lines need to be left disconnected?
