Sure am glad you found the problem and solved it..

Now i dont recall you specifying if this was dozer or loader....so am asking...which is it? and if is Loader...what hydraulic pump is it?? cam pump or crank pump..if crank pump is it Hydreco? Being a 40c suspect you have cam pump?

It’s a dozer-has a blade on it. It does have the cam driven pump on it. It’s all 40C but the hydraulics. Tractor is a 1955 but the blade was added in 1958 so it has a 420C valve stack and reservoir on it but has the 40C hydraulic pump on it.
