Hydraulic manifold T14730T

Post by reedgmi » Tue Jul 15, 2025 9:12 am

What's the story behind this hydraulic manifold? Seems to be nothing more than a union for the two hoses between pump & valve on the pressure side, and another for return from valve to tank. Does it have any other purpose? Since I am replacing hoses anyway, should I just eliminate this "manifold" and use one longer hose?

It harms nothing by being there, I would tend to just leave it.

True - no harm done. I guess this was from the days before the big companies had "Value Management Engineering" guys.
