JD 1010 1962 w/6 way blade

Post by lilrastor » Mon Nov 17, 2025 2:50 pm

Hi everyone,
My name is Mike. Thank you for the add by the way. It's much appreciated.
I have a 1962 JD 1010 serial # 31893. My question is on the 6 way blade attachment. I have a T bar control handle for the hydraulic gresen 2573 3spool double acting valve body. Does anyone have a fix for the sloppy control linkage. Mine is wallowed out. Maybe a rebuild kit. Thanks in advance. Mike

Possible to drill it out and put a bushing in it?

Last price I knew on the kits was a decade ago at least, and they were $1400 give or take. I fixed ours by brazing all the holes shut and rewelding, replacing any worn pins, new bushing around the T handle, and new thrust washer.
