Very nice job on truck!!
When you get the 440 done, I am sure it will be a definite show stopper!!
Good luck!!
Thanks.. ya.. the truck turned out great.. enjoy every minute I drive it. The 440 on the other hand is turning out to be just as nice.. too bad I want to use it on my farm. The very least, I'll know what I have even if I get it all scratched up..

Those pumps are nice .. A chap at work had restored a couple of them.. one being quite rare with a 15 gallon glass.. old White Rose stuff.. he got them off my great uncle who owned a White Rose service stations back in the day.. I just barely remember the place...

Good morning!
Do you have any other items from your grampa’s service station?
Did you see my post on the skeleton I came across, that is one serial number out from the 440ic I have?
That was a pleasant shock! The guy that owns it, is quite the dealer-it has been sitting there for at least 15-20 years, without a part removed, but as soon as I started to ask about it, it was all of a sudden very valuable ! I haven’t told him about the serial number, other than saying it’s close, because the price would jump again!! Quite the find!

Still working on the picture thing, maybe this weekend I will figure it out.
Sam

Hi,

There was a time when I wanted a visible pump. Figured I would actually use it with Diesel. Then, I figured out that Restored in pump-speak meant Painted Pretty. Oh, well.

Some are just painted, but I took this one completely down, all metal parts are powder coated, all pipes inside have been replaced and painted( to get rid of any petroleum smell, ) glass cyl is repo, but best I have seen, all gaskets and seals are like new, so someone could put gas/diesel in it. I have it done in Imperial 3 star ( Canadian ) I have a bunch of old esso stuff also.
I hope to be able to put picture on here soon( along with 440ic)

Sorry, my great uncle's garage has been gone a very long time. He closed it when I was a kid. Then he sold the property and the station was boarded up before he sold it. It had been well picked over just before he closed it. It's too bad really. but such is progress.. I guess...
