Well, cross your fingers, I have two different samples coming from two different manufacturers. I hate to get my hopes up, but it actually sounds pretty good.
I also have some samples coming for the elbow going to the air cleaner, so we'll see what happens.

Okay, EPIC FAIL on the first sample that came in. Of course, it could have been the result of the idiot that ordered it not measuring the blower intake diameter correctly! SOOOO, that means that the other sample coming will be useless too! Oh well, you know my motto, "Life's hard, but much harder when you are stupid." To top it off, I just broke my good original elbow tonight, so am dead in the water til I find a replacment now. I am slowly starting to really hate this diesel, I hope something turns around in the near future, or I am back to gassers.

Okay, second sample arrived today, and while not the perfect size, I did intall it on my crawler and it will clamp down small enough. I have second sample from this manufacturer coming tomorrow in the correct size, so I think I have the problem licked.

Both legs are a little longer than original. The blower leg should probably be shortened an inch or more if you wanted to, the pipe side I like longer for more contact area.

Lavoy,
Can you supply the cross reference part number for the upper blower hose you found? Do you stock it now? My old one is hardened and I think someone punched a either injection hole in it.
I thought about putting a 1/4 inch npt petcock in place of the plug on the blower for shooting in small amount of either.

I have them on hand, no problem. I usually just pull the plug to squirt some ether in and put it back. I would maybe worry about a petcock getting bumped and letting dirt in.
