Drott 4-in-1 hunting, bucket swap a JD 2010 to my 350C?
Hey everyone!
I have a JD 350C, and I have been scouring the Earth the past 2 years for a Drott 4-in-1 for my machine, with not much luck thus far.
I just found a 2010 on Craigslist with a 4-in-1, along with a 51 backhoe.
That said, a couple quick questions:
1) Do the holes and centers line up on a 350 from either a 1010 or 2010?
2) What about a a bucket from a 450 on a 350?
3) If they don't line up on either, how much fab-work would I have in the swap?
4) Regarding width, can I run a slightly wider bucket on my 350 instead of it's standard 60"? Could I get away with at least a 72", maybe even an 80"?
(I do have single-grousers, in case that matters. Naturally, it's more stress on the drives of course)
5) Lastly, I have a 9300 hoe on my 350C. Any parts worth having from that 51 backhoe that is on this 2010?
Any input would be appreciated, and thanks for reading.

I have a 4-1 on a 450. It works well. Very versatile. Judging from the repairs I suspect they aren't nearly as durable as a blade. Mine has three major repairs with a lot of weld metal. It doesn't surprise me that you're having trouble finding one in good condition that will fit a 350. Survival rate may not be good.

Thank you sir.
Do you know where I can find a cross-reference sheet of some kind? Or do you know if a 2010 bucket lines up with a 350?

Have you contacted Drott? I don't even know if they are still in business. If you could find the right guy you might have some success.

Drott was purchased by Tenneco years ago and made a division of Case Equipment. My guess is you would have to ask Case if they have any historical info. My thoughts are going and measuring the 2010, 350, and 450 loader frames and pinning arrangements will be your quickest and easiest way to see which models might have the same pinning dimensions.
If you plan to dig and do clearing with it I would stay with the standard bucket size for the 350C.

I can take some picture and measure up the geometry on my 450() if you think it will do you any good.

I am reasonably sure that they do not interchange, but not positive.
