clearing with disc harrow

Post by Joel Shackelford » Thu Feb 21, 2008 11:20 pm

Anyone ever pull a bush and bog harrow with a crawler? The book " Moving the Earth" says it works good for clearing brush as it chops it up and buries it. I'm not sure a JD 450 would pull a big enough disc. What do you think?

I've not seen many harrows big and heavy enough to chop up brush of any size. Even a small limb can left a fairly large disk out of the ground.

There are ts better designed for that, basically a large drum similar ot a sheeps foot packer.
