how do i get the blower off of the 2-53, its in a 440icd, also, the detroit shop told me that the seals were no long avable>>??? i need help, can some one get me these seals, or have the updated done for me

I can get it done up here for you. It is not cheap, I think the last one I had done was $550, but don't quote me. Or I can get you their name and address, and you can call them directly.

good loard... that seems high.. is there any way to get the seals and me put them in.. mabe like the orginals.. the shop here that got me my head gasket told me that there was no update.. give me your number and ill call u, being that i can only get the stuff up your way.. im needing these seals a-sap..

o and can someone tell me how that dang blower comes off...??? i got the 4 bolts off but what else is there...

comeone some one has taken these off befor, some give me some infor,, im 24 and luv these crawlers, so if u can share your info im listing...thanks

Everything I have heard or been told about these blowers is if you are not schooled in them, don't take them apart. There is a timing procedure that has to be done as far as I know. As to the seal install, it takes a special tool to change the housing to the new style seals.

i dont know what that tool is but my best friend is a machineest.. he can make all kinds of shit.. im just saying that 500 seems steep.. more then i can aford... ok say i dident disamble the blower.. how do i get it loose from the block??? so i could send it off or whatever?? i just need it fixed, i cant even start it without it trying to rev all the way up till it blowes..
