This is my frst forum ever, so bare with me. Can this clutch be adjusted or is toast. Manual is not real clear, any tips and tricks on this adjustment would be helpful.

My right slide slips too. The left steering clutch was rebuilt on my machine not long before I bought it but the right side wasn't. When the clutch gets worn out you can keep on loosening the linkage and it doesn't do any good and it was already all the way loose when I got it. That said, it's still pretty usable if you know what you're dealing with. For example, it doesn't slip nearly as much when it's cold so save the big trees that you need to push over until the next day. Make more right turns by braking on the side with the weak clutch.
I would try going through the steering clutch adjustment process in the service manual first. Maybe they're just not adjusted right. If it's worn out like mine the only fix is to pull the steering clutch and rebuild it... or do what I do and live with it until you absolutely have to fix it
