Used Parts guy in Maine.

Post by Dave Holt » Fri Oct 21, 2011 8:36 pm

Got to meet Terry Briggs in Reidfield Maine today. Very friendly guy and more than willing to help. Only deals in 2 cyl. JD dozers. Some MC parts but anything you will need for any up to a 440. Has at least 20 parted out machines. Bought two used 440 rolls for $75 each.
For anyone looking for two bolt pads he has hundreds of them.
He also pins and bushes tracks.

Do you know where he gets his pins and bushings for two bolt tracks? I thought they were all but gone in supply, at least at a reasonable price that made sense.
Does he have almost new or NOS tracks or are they worn out like many of them?

40c tracks

Post by RacinJason » Thu Dec 20, 2012 8:16 pm

Well, this is an old thread, but I see willyr is still around. I'd like to know if Terry Briggs is still working with "Johnny Poppers"? I've been looking for someone with a track press in this neck of the woods. My 40C is in Corinth, ME, tho I live in MA. (unfortunately) Lavoy is too far away, so I'm trying to find someone still doing these old tracks. Pins and bushings are still available from Deere. (DEC2012)
