Allen, to post photos here from Photobucket, you need to select the photo to post then click on the "Direct Link" under the "links" menu.
Then come back here and select the Img button in the menu bar above the dialog box, you will see this appear [ img ], paste the "Direct Link" next to it then click the Img button again to make this appear [ /img ]
Add text below the photo or repeat the posting of more photos.
Did you check the splines in the steering clutch driven plate?

I don't have Firefox and I'm not sure what Photobucket is. When I transfer pictures from my digital camera, they go to My Photos. Then, I'll transfer them to Picasa. The pictures that I posted came from Picasa. I'm not sure why I wasn't able to provide individual links here. Picasa is nice because they won't show up so large. You can then click on the photo in Picasa and zoom in.

Allen: Picassa organizes pictures stored on your computer. Photobucket is a web based photo site that allows you to share pictures with anyone anywhere by sharing a link to the photo(s) you upload. It is a free site and it is pretty easy to use. Use Dan's link and info to get started. Photobucket will walk you through uploading a picture or video. Good luck.

Update : pulled fibers and steels out cleaned and reajusted the pressure plate setting, reassembled , stick is not going back forward like a spring is broke , All good from veiwing when apart. now have a click when pulling back on stick .. Looks like around the area of the the brake linkage . Could the problem lie in the throw out bearing assembly ? Left side is perfect good pull and allows stick to go back foward . Case is coming back off . Getting really good at pulling case off .. Any input, I thank all in advance . Good day .

Are the springs for the cam attached and in good shape?
They help to return the cam to the neutral position.

Most likley the adjustable link between the steering shaft and the throwout bearing is too long, and needs to be shortened, just did this to both sides of a 440 I had in the shop.
If you hear a click when you pull back on the steering levers, the brake band is grossly out of adjustment.

So what ended up being your final problem. You should post some pictures.

Sounds like you need to add some shims to the quill cover.

Is there a trick to find the amount of shims needed ? Thanks for the help.
