Does the front nose on the 350 swivel forward on a hinge,or do you have to unbolt and remove it?

Yes it tips forward from the bottom providing the hinge parts are there.

You have to remove the bolts holding the belly pan from the bottom of the nose if the belly pan is there, then the bolts on the side of the nose and it should tilt forward on the hinge brackets at the front- bottom. It is heavy but with some help it can be done without much difficulty. My 350b will catch on the rad cap so watch for that.

Keep in mind that all this is done with the bucket in the air PROPERLY SUPPORTED so that it will have no chance of falling on you if a hose breaks or for some other reason, it comes down.

I have the owners manual and service manual,neither one shows it with the hood tilted. I read in one spot where it says to undo some side bolts,hood,grill,headlights and move it forward to service rad,belt etc,with not one diagram showing it that way. I'll take another look and undo some bolts,just don't want it dropping on my toes.

Once you have the bucket up in the air and supported for safety, it is easy to use a rope, chain or small come along from the loader frame above, to the nose, so an accident can be avoided. Remove the grill and attach through the rad cap hole, and through the front of the nose once the grill is off, and you should be good to go.

This is a good time to wear your steel toed boots!

What are you trying to fix on that crawler?

Trying to get to the power steering pump,which has a small leak somewhere,maybe pump packing or power pistons.
Also looking at changing fan belt.
