I'm new to older john deere crawlers. I am now looking to buy a 420. Is there any thing I need to look for while inspecting it. It runs and has a loader on it.
I would say it's about average cond. What would be an average price for one.
Thanks for any help.

John Deere 420C
I sold one for $1800.00 3 years ago. Ran good, steered good, pins/bushings 40%,nearly new condition sprockets, loader worked fine, and it needed about half of the rollers replaced and front idlers needed some attention. It was usable, but would probably run out of a track on a side hill. The things I mentioned are things you should look for when shopping. Greg

I would like to post a few photos but can't seem to get them on the site. I have mac lap top any help on how to do this would be nice.

No, chassis number is only on the tag itself.
