About an inch sag from sprocket to idler. If the tracks sat long enough to have set up some, best way to loosen them up is run in water or snow.

Hyd oil is fine, might be bad bearings in pump, or may just need the bypass setup.

I'm still waiting for the manual, what should the pressure relief be set at?

900 psi, anything more and you will wear out your pump. Alas new equipment wont allow anything lower than 1500. So plan to rebuild the pump eventually.
