350b Reverser Rebuild

Post by RottenRock » Wed Jan 23, 2013 12:53 pm

Good afternoon.

Much to the thanks of this board we have rebuilt our reverser in our 350B. Everything went together well and the revereser moves freely with drill prior to installation.

Reverser and Engine install went well and she fired right up - the only hitch being we can only get 25 PSI on Forward, Neutral. Have not tested reverse yet as we need to get an adapter plug.

My feeling is that we may have an issue in the control block on the side of the reverser. I had found the air testing procedure that has been described on here a little to late.

Any quick thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Henry.

Search for some post by me. I had a 350C that I could only get 50 psi on. Turned out there was wear on the arm that moves the clutch valve and the valve could not fully open. There are some pictures in one of the post and you can see what I am talking about.
