440 pins and bushings

Post by DukeofDeere » Tue Feb 05, 2013 4:21 pm

I am looking for the specs on the pins and bushings for the 440 crawler.
Found someone who would like to quote making several sets.

Thanks
Duke

Seems to me they are in the service manual for the 420.

Or do what I did, go to Deere and buy one set. You then have an exact replacement part to work from.

Hi: Take a look at this thread for some info. Send me an email and I can send you the document I created showing sizes that I've measured or found.

Ultimately a local trackman supplied the pins and bushings needed to rebuild my tracks.
Good luck with your project.

Are there any new sets of pins and bushings available without going to the 350's?

Wow! That's a couple hundred bucks less, when I priced pins and bushings 3-4 months ago.

What is a sane fair price for good quality pins and bushings?

Here is the latest on pins and bushings for the 420,430,440-early 2010.
$1500 for a set of 72 pins and bushings made here in west Michigan.
Anyone interested let me know.
Thanks
