Current part number for 2-53 injector

Post by Lavoy » Sun Feb 17, 2013 8:27 pm

Okay, anybody know the current part number for a rebuilt 2-53 injector? I assume all that is offered is going to be an N35, any harm putting them in a engine that I don't know the history on?

They can't find any sort of part number, and keep telling me I don't have the correct serial number. I will call again tomorrow and see if they have found any more out.

I don't think they gave me the part number when I ordered mine, but they too told me only the N series were available.

Finally found the new part number, subs up from the original number, and according to the dealer, is the N series injector. Unfortunately not stocked in their system, but can get them in 2-3 weeks.
