"Runs well" is not a description for any crawler.

That is a great looking machine. Been a long time since I've seen one that clean and straight. It even has the guards on the sprockets and chain tensioners. I'm impressed. If I had the money, thats how I would like to put the 440ICD I just bought. Nice find robk. gregjo1948

"a mid-60s" Not. With a 58-59 style throttle. Also see a reverser lever which should help. Alternator means 12V I guess.

i have the disc type on my 440 too.. are those 350s or did they ever make them for a 440?
scampr 440icd, 350B, 47 Farmall H, 55 Farmall cub and ashamed to have a Kabota too

They made them for the 440, normally seen on loaders.

mid 60s would be 1010/2010 what was the last year for the 440? Lavoy?
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

Looks like it has the bigger tranny, can barely see the dip stick when the pic is enlarged.
That would make it around a 1959 since it has the side throttle.
Based on that, it should have the higher HP gas engine.
The serial number tag will tell the story unless the engine block was swapped out at some point.
