Track frames

Hear are some interesting things I ran into rebuilding my 4th crawler a 5 roller 420 The track frames are different from 40,early 420 to late 420 430.The first thing I found is the upper roll mounting bracket is bolted to the track frame with three bolts on the early and 4 bolts on the late. The late frame has flat bar stock welded as gussets between the mounting holes and the early doesn't. The holes that mount the rock guards on the early ones are smaller than the late witch are the same size as the bolts that mount the rolls. The clamps that hold the track frames to the cross bars are more pointed on the top on the early and the late clamps are more rounded.
