JD model 612 hydraulic blade

about to get new hoses for this blade.

I have a "L" shaped 1/4" steel plate has the connections for the inlet high pressure, and, the outlet low pressure.

Question: What does the blasted "L" shaped 12 x 8" plate bolt to???

It has to go between the battery box and the air cleaner...

does it lye horizontally, from frame to battery box or vertically?

nothing in site to bolt to... confused....

If it is the one I am thinking of, it lies flat from the back of the dash going forward.
