There were SEVENTY bids on this thing. Seller and eBay claim it sold for 7200 or so. Seems impressive to me. I'm amazed.

Hmmm. More eBay machinations, it's a strange place. Most of the stuff I "watch" on eBay doesn't sell. "Reserve not met" or "Seller has relisted this item" is usually the case. I wonder how they got the "SOLD" banner on their picture? That's pretty good. Very little of what I "watch" on eBay actually APPEARS to sell. Many times, when it is supposedly sold, it shows up again a couple weeks later.

Most likely had someone bid it in, or have multiple accounts.

In my limited experience watching exciting stuff like "relisted items" on eBay, the second listing never does as well as the first. Obviously the seller thinks the machine is worth more than $7300. I assume somebody pulled a link out of the tracks, right? The idler could not be so far back on the rail otherwise, right?

I follow pickup trucks, excavators, welders and soil screeners right now. Life is exciting. It's a joke with the guys at the local diner. My wife will call upstairs to the office, "Roooob! Are you looking at porno?"
Well, yeah, kinda.
