MC to the rescue

Post by Tessiers Farm » Sat Jul 06, 2013 2:41 pm

Got stuck mowing Hay the other day with a 2wd 50hp diesel tractor, brought over another 4wd tractor and got the 2wd out but when I hooked on the 4wd got that stuck too, even hooked together couldn't get the mower out. Hauled up my MC and hooked on to the back of the mower, left the 4wd on the front pushing back, the MC walked it right out and it hardly came off idle. My wife actually said, geez glad you have that. It ain't every day she approves of my equipment. :D

Did you get her comment in writing? Did you stress the need for another crawler in case the MC gets stuck? Got to take advantage of these scarce moments.

Maybe the mowing should be done with the MC. :) gregjo1948

That is exactly what my father said.

Nothing in writing from the wife, I am sure she will deny it if it comes up in future conversations however it brought me a little satisfaction for the moment.

Perhaps, if you stick the MC in a mud hole, you can convince your wife that you need a larger dozer to pull it out. :) gregjo1948
