1010 Hydraulic Pump

Post by username » Tue Jul 09, 2013 7:47 pm

I need a replacement pump for my 1010c dozer and was curious what others were using as a replacement pump.

I'm not sure of the make but it is marked B15512 1YK and 1 40 HS.It's a 9 spine and I think 5/8.It blew the pump seal.

I think my 1010 has a Cessna pump. Why don't you replace the seal? gregjo1948

If the seal is blown it will most likely blow again due to a worn out pump.

It's going to depend on whether you have a dozer or loader. The loader requires larger flows. Read Jdemaris's response in this thread:

I did state it was a dozer but even then I am seeing 8 and 15 gpm for a dozer.

Sorry, I missed the word dozer in your original post. The size differences (shaft OD and spline count) depends on whether a bare dozer or dozer with capability for attachments, and that dictates flow rate. Bare dozer is the 15 GPM @ 2500 RPM; dozer with attachments is the 23 GPM @ 2500 RPM. Part numbers are in the discussion thread I posted.

Thanks for the info. There is no play that I could detect in my shaft and seal is very soft and tears easy so I am going to try a new seal.

Well I put a new seal in the pump and it has not blown out yet.The old one was very soft and could be torn very easy.

Now I found out the packing in one cylinder is blown out.Anyone have a part number or a line on where I might get a seal kit?
