Gearmatic 8A Winch Question

Will an 8A winch, currently mounted on a 1960 440IC, mount onto a 1960 430C without modification? Are there any differences between the mounting on a 440 vs. a 430?

It will bolt right on, tension rods might be wrong, but can,t remember.

I always wondered how a winch was mounted on a 420. I guess life is complete now!
1956 JD420, gearmatic 8a winch, custom 6 way blade and FOPS.
