Mid 70's 450C blade control valve rebuild

Post by AKCub » Tue Aug 13, 2013 6:48 pm

Hi,
Thanks in an advance for any help. This forum has been a ton of help for my newly acquired dozer and I.

My 6 way blade control is leaking from the control spools on top of the module. Is there a way to rebuild (replace O-rings and packings) these on this module? I have a background with aircraft hydraulics and it looks to be of similar construction.

Can someone point me towards part numbers of the O-rings or a kit if that sort of thing is available?

Thanks,

Scott

When I did mine on my 350 my valve and pump were Cessena I found a pump kit online and bought it from an aircraft repair garage for the valve seals I used with a place called Martin fluid power they are all over the US not sure if they are in AK.If you have a parts book JD most likely should be able to get them .

If you go to john deere parts online set up an account for yourself you can

access your machine including the hydraulic valve and order what you need

right from deere not sure about pricing.

Excellent news.

Thanks you guys.

I will set up an account asap. Having the IPB's available is pretty handy.
